CN Tower
The CN Tower "Tour CN" (in French) was built in 1976 by the Canadian National railway. It was constructed on an old railway switching yard known as the "Railway Lands". At one point in time (until 2009), the CN Tower was the tallest free-standing structure in the world at 1,815.3 ft. The tower is now owned by Canada Lands Company, a corporation responsible for real estate.
