BRYN MAWR Tower
Like the similar to in appearance PAOLI Tower, BRYN MAWR Tower was constructed in 1896 by the PRR. BRYN MAWR controlled a four track crossover and utilized a US&S Model 14 electro-pneumatic switch machine. The tower is two stories in height with a foundation made of stone, brick load-bearing first floor exterior walls (with decorative recessed panels in the elevations between windows) and a wood-framed second floor. BRYN MAWR has a distinctive, rounded, trackside facing bay window on the second floor. The interior contains an internal stairway and a second floor restroom. A fire in 1994 caused all operations at BRYN MAWR to cease. The "new" electrical switch box can be seen along side of the tower.
