1 (Shay Three Cylinder) was built by the Lima Locomotive Works in 1905. Used to haul logs in West Virgina by the G.W. Huntly Lumber Co., the gear-driven locomotive with flexible base had three side-mount cylinders, which powered a long crankshaft fitted with beveled gears. |
